Creative Chains is run by Fermanagh based visual artist Tara Moran - Woods.

My creative background stems from a Fine Art Degree which I obtained while at Sligo Institute of Technology. I graduated in 2006 and since then I have partook in a number of group shows and solo shows in Northern and Southern Ireland and engaged in studio residencies. Since graduating I have also facilitated art and craft workshops for adults and children in schools and community halls towards Halloween parades, community projects and just simply as leisure activities.

Artists Statement :
“I create installation art mainly, as a medium which manipulates and changes the environment of a room. The context of the work explores notions of human traces, conditions, territories and exchanges. Crochet is the preferred craft that I use in an attempt to transform and adapt a form of domestic craft into contemporary art."

Creative Chains offers the public contemporary hand made artwork, a revival of the home craft of crochet, which is up to date with modern living, Art and Design.

Creative Chains incorporates :
Installation Artwork
Commission Art
Painting, Drawings and 2D Crochet Art
Fabric Fashion Accessories
Art and Craft Workshops for Adults and Children
